What is Vintage Tuesday?
Once Upon a Time …. back in the young and crazy days when we were just beginning to enjoy wine (and our downward spiral began) we thought we were so cool because we brought wine to parties when everyone else was drinking beer. Being young and broke, we did not exactly get the most expensive wine …actually we usually got pretty cheap wine. At one party someone tried to out “wine snob” us (as if we really knew what we were doing anyway) and asked “What vintage is that?” I looked all over the label and there was no year. Just the most important information that we cared about back then - 13.5%! Well, not knowing what to say, I quickly said “The vintage? Oh it’s VINTAGE TUESDAY!”
As we got older (but not wiser) we learned that good wine does not have to be expensive. We always try to stick with more reasonably priced wine that tastes great. When we find one, we’ll pass our finding on to you. Our travels take us to many fun places and we always try include a wine event when we can. (or any event as long as they serve wine) The “Tales from the Wine Trails” gives you an inside look at our (sometimes insane) journey in search of wine, fun and adventure. On occasion we find ourselves doing some pretty silly things (that seemed like a good idea at the time) but it’s all part of life’s journey and we enjoy every minute of it.
